Some People's Children

What a good week! I was ill... yes ill, not sick... for two days but we still managed to get some work done!

Last Monday we were able to go to Amberley Castle which was awesome! it is now used as a super expensive hotel but it was gorgeous. We had lunch there and went on a little walk around the town. The Horsley's leave a week from today so we had to one last fun thing with them. (:

About a week and a half ago I was on exchange with Sister Watt, my mtc companion, and boy did that bring back some memories! it's amazing to see how much we have both grown and changed. We found a Hungarian family that this week Sister Berati and i taught!

We are teaching the mother how to speak English which is initially how we got our foot in the door. We taught her the alphabet this week and shared a short part of the restoration with the family.

It's been a crazy busy week but I loved every minute of it! We had the musical fireside on Friday about Joseph Smith which was SO good. I sang in the choir and also in a trio singing Savior, Redeemer which we sang in Sacrament meeting yesterday! (so nerve wracking) The program should be up on youtube later on for you all to watch. (:

Anyone remember Dave? We gave him a tour in the VC a while ago and we were able to attend his baptism! It was so awesome and amazing to be able to see a glimpse of someone's conversion.

Sarah got back from India but got in a motorcycle accident the last day she was there! It's not too bad but her knee is pretty scuffed up. her baptism will most likely be set back for a while until she recovers.

RANDOM: As we were driving home Saturday night from the VC we were with sister Ylisaari and Sister Watt. Everyone was out on the town and wearing practically nothing but luckily our windows weren't down because i screamed 'go to church!!' then sister ylisaari followed with 'put out that cigarette!!' and finally sister watt 'make good choices!!' it was the best.

Sister Walmsley's birthday was yesterday and of course without fail, Nicki threw an amazing party for her. It was so much fun and i'm glad that i could celebrate with all of the Visitor's Centre sisters. We have all grown so close and i know it's going to kill me to be separated from them. That includes (sister) Nicki.

Transfers are this week and Sister Walmsley is finally going out to the field! For real this time. (: She will be going to Brighton which isn't that far away from us so we'll be blessed to see her often!

Sadly Sister Watt will be leaving as well which makes us down to 2 companionships in the VC. She was only in the VC for 6 weeks so hopefully she will come back soon for good. She's been in the field most of her mission.

I had a TON of emails this week. haha. (: I felt so loved. So thank your for everyone that emailed me. Thank you for all the love and support as well! <3
