Knockedy Knock

Hello gorgeous people!

For the first time on my mission, i woke up on friday feeling so grateful that it was pday... pday is not on friday. i was very disappointed when i realized that i still had 3 more days until i could take a long nap during the day. i love my naps!

To say the least it's been a long week. We don't have anyone to work with at the moment and it's a lot of finding. We did see a miracle on Tuesday when we went knocking though. The night before when we planned we planned to have four lessons but after the prayer i felt prompted that we needed to have six, which seemed crazy because we only had an hour and a half to knock. A lesson is counted when you teach 2 principles, leave a commitment and pray. So we went out the next day and the first FOUR doors that we knocked on we had lessons with, one right after another. That has never happened with me... ever.

The first door we knocked on was an older lady called Sharon. She was super sweet. She wasn't interested but she listened to what we had to say. turns out that her nephew had just gotten home from a mission and his brother was about to get his call. We left a Book of Mormon with her and prayed. When we said goodbye she had tears in her eyes as she shut the door. We are definitely going back there.

Sorry about not having pictures this week! Here is a funny video of Sister Pinegar to make up for it. (: Nothing too exciting has been going on lately. I'm grateful for all of your love and support. <33
