Cheers to another week! By the way, Happy belated Valentine's Day my loves! It was definitely one to remember only because i had a hot date with the pouring rain! It rained ALL day on Friday and guess who went tracting?! We were drenched to say the least. It's been the rainiest winter England has had in over 250 years. I'd love to give some to AZ right about now. But when we go knocking we always seem to have three different responses:
1. *opens door* 'oh i'm not interested. I have my own beliefs...' *and shuts the door*
We were able to teach a Church of England preacher in training on her doorstep about the Book of Mormon which was AMAZING. She even accepted one and said she'd pray about it. Even though she doesn't want us back it was worth it. She did not want to listen at first, which is weird that people don't even want to share what they believe, but then the Spirit took over and she learned about the Book of Mormon. (:
As we were driving to find some less active members i just thought to myself how lucky i am to be living in England. It was one of those moments of disbelief. <<<Is that even a word? Anyway, how did i get so lucky?!
A couple of weeks ago i went to the Ward in Crawley and met a guy named David. It was his first time at church and was just starting to learn. He came into the VC and recognized him straight away. The missionaries came and Sister Berati and I gave them a tour. In the beginning he didn't know if this was the path for him and afterwards the Elders set a baptismal date for the 15th of March! It's amazing to be able to see the Spirit work. I hope i'll be able to attend his baptism.
I've been called as a Sister Trainer in the VC and was able to give my first weekly training with Sister Ylisaari on tuesday. The Pinegars have come up with a new motto for us all which are the 4 C'sNo Complaining
No Competing
