Happy Halfway!

Hey All! (:
Well i am officially on the down slope of my mission. It's definitely bitter sweet thinking that i only have 9 months left. It blows my mind thinking that i've already done 9 months let alone realizing that i only have 9 months to improve myself in every way possible on top of helping other come closer to Christ.

Time has gone so fast, especially since i hit 6 months. everyone says once you get past that point it goes even faster and it's true. it's already February! it feels like i just got to skype with my family for Christmas! What happened to January?
Sister Berati & Me

Monday Sister Walmsley and I studied like crazy for the written part of getting UK drivers test and Tuesday was the moment of truth. We passed! Now we just have to do the driving part which will be a challenge because they are beyond strict here. A lot of the couples on missions here have taken it 3 or more times before passing. So nervous!

Wednesday we had transfers and goodness was i shattered afterwards. We had a dying missionary (missionary going home) stay at our flat the night before and she was up most of the night with two other sister that stayed with us because of transfers. I had to take the dying one to the VC to catch a ride to the airport at 7 in the morning then at 10 we left with the sisters being transferred to Staines chapel where most transfers take place. We had lunch and i saw Sister Maddocks! (my baby) it was so good to see her. <3 love that girl so much.

Sister Jacob and Sister Maddocks overwhelmed by all the missionaries being moved

After driving to staines and picking up/ dropping off siters we had to go to the VC drop off luggage, go BACK to staines pick up MORE luggage then back to the VC, then to the airport to drop sisters that were being transferred to the islands, go grocery shopping for the week with new companion, pick up sisters from VC, and finally went home. I don't even know if that made sense but to say the least i drove a lot that day.

Elders can be weird...

We are basically starting from scratch as far as area work goes which is frustrating but it's okay. We split up the area between the 4 companionship's that we have in our ward, 3 being VC sisters and the other being the office elders.

Sister Berati and I kept Rex and Sarah since we both taught them since the beginning of out missions. Sarah still has another 4 weeks in India and we commited Rex to live the Word of Wisdom on Saturday. He is still hesitant about his date but he will get there.

I'm jealous of all of you that have been able to go to the Gilbert Temple open house! I love being able to see pictures though. (: It's still raining nonstop here but it's not cold so that's a plus. it only gets down to the low 40's but it'll be in the 50's this week. SUCH a blessing. I hope you all have a good week and would love to hear from you next week!
