What a week! It's crazy how much you can get done when you aren't in the visitor's centre for more than half of the day. I'm still getting used to being here though because it's a huge difference compared to what it was in the visitor's centre it seems like. We taught a guy named Joel last Monday that went really well. We taught it at a member's house for FHE. We taught the restoration and invited him to read and pray about the Book of Mormon. He still has an issue with the authority to baptize but that's the lesson that we are having tonight to clear some things up. Another FHE! Yay!! I've missed them.
My companion was sick a whole day this week and we didn't have any appointments. it's been quite a downer because we both haven't been all that motivated. BUT we had an exchange on Saturday with the sister trainer leader. i stayed in the area and my companion went back to the STL's area with her companion. So Sister Yapi was my companion for the day and we had 6 lessons in one day including 1 new investigator. we got a lot done and only had to knock a couple doors just to kill some time before the bus came. it was so good! i was so glad. we killed it together. now i just have to keep that movitivation up for the rest of the transfer. i know that i can lead this area now so i'm going to start leading whether my companion knows it or not. haha.
they have these really cool things here that i love!! kettles! i used one for the first time. it heats up the water to boiling in like 1 minute!! i LOVE it! i wish we had them in america. and if we do i am totally buying one when i get home because waiting for water to boil on the stove is such a waste of time! that's my picture for the week. (: haha.
I'm still holding up pretty well! not too shabby. (: sorry it's a bit short! i'll try and write more next week. haha. i couldn't really think of what we even did this week. it's all a blurr out here and everything meshes together. one day i write in my journal every night and wonder what we did that day. haha. i have to look at my planner most of the time. hopefully i remember everything! haha.
