I'm Still Me

Thanks to my clever cousin Ishel i will now sum up my week in 10 phrases.

Now i guess i can explain some of this mumble jumble. (: Sister Berati has had the worst migraine on and off for a while and so she had to go to London to see a doctor. It's been hard to get work done but she's is being taken care of and that's all that matters!

Monday night we had a dinner appointment with the Scarlett's and they gave us cake to take home so i had the cake in my hands to put in the fridge when we got home. The next morning we looked for 20 minutes for the car keys... i'm sure you can guess where they were... in the fridge. let me tell you, prayer works! you're probably thinking 'she hasn't changed a bit'. in that sense you are SO right. #blonderoots

Sarah has a baptismal date again so that's exciting! she didn't go to church yesterday so that's frustrating. so many emotions on a mission i can hardly stand it.

We found a lady called Lisa knocking and she's apparently met with a ton of different Elders in the past which was really cool to hear. Her nonbeliever son was there for the lesson and he had a ton of questions that he did/didn't really want answered. the next lesson should be a bit better because he was just there for a visit and Lisa is very receptive.

Yesterday was Mothering Sunday or better known as Mother's Day here in the UK and i just about had it during sacrament meeting. I miss my mum! Tears were shed to say the least. I decided when i got home that night after planning that i would bake, the thing most therapeutic to me next to deep cleaning. Thanks to Aunt Kari's package i was able to bake the famous Seminary Muffins <i think that's what they're called>(banana nut muffins with chocolate chips) in bread form. SO good with a tall glass of milk.

The Feher Family (Hungarians) are doing awesome. We are now teaching the 19 year old son! They went to church every Sunday back in Hungry so i know they know the importance and Adrian (mum) said she feels like there's no care in the world when she reads the Book of Mormon. That's because it's true!

We had a cute family come into the VC and a little girl called Audrey came up to me and asked me where i was from. She was from Canada but now lives here in the UK. She wants to serve a mission one day and was the cutest thing EVER. i just had to let her wear my badge in our picture together. The future 'Sister Edwards'. I felt like a Disney princess at Disneyland letting the little girl wear my crown but better.

I'm so grateful for this time that i have to represent Jesus Christ! I wouldn't change it for the world. Thank you for the love and support. <3
