One of the best exeriences yet! Holy moly. So on Saturday we went to Salt Lake again but this time we weren't the ones on the tour. We were the ones giving them and actually walking around temple square talking to... wait for it... REAL people! They weren't acting like an investigator or a member of course. It was so awesome. When we got there we got off the bus and these little kids with their parents screamed "Hi sister missionaries!". Cuetest. Thing. Ever. That's really when it hit me that im a missionary! In the MTC it doesn't really seem real but on temple square on Saturday it definitely did. I loved every minute of it. We got temporary companions who were sister missionaries at temple square already so that was nice to be with someone who knew what they were doing. I was paired up with Sister Romney from Mesa, AZ! She is so nice and so cool! She already goes home in January! So crazy. So we started walking around temple square to start off and she was explaining to me how there are usually a ton of people just on business trips and are touring who usually have a lot of questions. Next thing i know these two guys from Boston, on a business trip, come up to us and start asking tons of questions! I answered a lot of them but my companion did as well. They asked how long the process is to become baptized, usually around three weeks, and they were so amazed becuase they are catholic and they said that to convert to their faith takes ages so it seems. So crazy! We left them with our testimony and also with a guest card that they can mail in to the church if they want missionaries to see them or if they have any other questions. So cool. We also talked to two different guys on a business trip touring and one was really recetive. We even placed a Book of Mormon and he said he would read it! How awesome is that? Then we went and ate dinner, nothing special just a sack lunch. Then we went to the referral center which is basically the chat and calling center. I helped a little 11 year old write her first talk for primary on faith through chat. it was the best!
