And Then There Were Four

Happy New Year! (: So much has happened this week i can barely wrap my head around it! We had transfers so we said goodbye to one of our office elders which was really sad because he has been here the entire time i've been on my mission. change is weird.

We spent new year's eve at the Bridgstocks and got to stay out until 9:15! :D #missionaryprobs. when we left the party totally died though... okay maybe not but still. i even almost forgot that it was the first of January when i woke up. oops!

New Years day the Visitor's Centre was closed and so we were in the field all day. All of the shops were closed on High Street so there weren't many people out. knocking was pointless because everyone was probably hung over or still sleeping but we still managed to get 8 lessons! it was so good. When i first got here we were only getting like 2 lessons a week and guess how many we had this week? TWENTY! That doesn't even count the ones we had online. It was such a good week. We've been in a trio this week since sister hopgood went home but we still managed to do work. it was amazing. most functioning trio EVER and BEST way to start out the new year!

We saw so many miracles happen this week while trying to reach our goals. Heavenly Father placed so many people in our path that i know we were supposed to meet. We met a girl called Ani and even though she didn't want to be taught she accepted a Book of Mormon and after we prayed with her she gave us a hug! We also received a text from her that night thanking us. hopefully we'll be able to see her again. (:

Another one of our sisters went home today and so now i'm companions with Sister Walmsley again!! I love this girl so much and we are going to work so well together just like the one week we were together before sister hopgood came! There are only 4 of us sisters serving in the visitor's centre now. we'll be switching with morning or night shifts everyday now.

More goodbyes were said last night to the Visitor's Centre directors after they spoke for the last time and i was a mess! So please forgive my puffy red face in the picture. haha. Sister Walmsely and i wrote a song and sang it for them after they spoke and they loved it. i know i will see them again but it's hard to see them go. they made such a huge impact on my mission and will always have a special place in my heart. they are such an amazing couple and i can't wait until i can see them again! luckily they are from Utah! The Pinegars, the new vc directors, will be here in 2 weeks and we are really excited for them to come!

*FAREWELL SONG VIDEO COMING SOON*

I'm so grateful for this new year. I know it's going to be a good one just by the way it started! I'm excited for the things that Heavenly Father has in store for me and hope and pray that i will be able to look back on this year and see how much i've grown just like this past year. I want to be able to help as many people as possible, even if it's just planting seeds. This gospel is true and the Book is blue. <3333
