So last Monday we went to 7 Sisters!! (: it was amazing!
Even though we went down the wrong trail so we only saw one sister i
still thought it was cool! It was so beautiful and
the ocean was gorgeous. England is just a beauty in itself really. This
week has really made see how amazingly blessed we are to live in such a
beautiful world. i absolutely love it. maybe it's just because i'm in
england but who's to say!
We had two investigators come to
church yesterday so it was really good! It was Rex's first time going
and he loved it! The members that brought him are his next door
neighbors and we got a text from them today saying that as soon as he
got home he dumped out all of his alcohol and asked to be baptized. so
amazing! It was fast and testimony meeting and that always kinda scares
me when there are new people because sometimes you just never know what
people are going to get up and say. haha. but it was so good!
We
were knocking by our other investigator's house, Louise, and we
actually found someone that is interested! It was her next door
neighbor, Jo! and the last house we decided to knock. haha. at first she
said she wasn't interested at all but i felt differently. we asked her
what she believed and that question always seems to stick people here
because they aren't really sure. so i asked her some questions about
where she though she was before this life and if she wanted to be with
her family after this life. all she knew is that she would want to be
with them in the next life but would rather not think about it. I then
bore my testimony about how much the gospel has blessed my life. the spirit
was so strong and you could see a complete change in her from the
minute we knocked on her door to the end of my testimony. We prayed with
her and we are going to see her tonight! the church is true!
I've
been thinking a lot about Trenton this month and it's only pushed me
more to tell everyone i can about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know
that this gospel is true with all of my heart and am so glad that i am
here to tell everyone i see about it. i'm grateful to know that we can
live with our families together forever because of the power of the
priesthood performed in the Temple. I love you all and can't wait to
hear from you next week!
